Once taken out of the box, the VIXID VJ mixer will attract you with its ergonomic, user friendly look: inspired by audio mixers featuring one fader per track, it takes only seconds to feel comfortable using it.
The 16 pad keyboard is a patented concept exclusive to Vixid : it allows you to freely chose the order that layers will simultaneously appear on screen.

Vixid is happy to introduce its exclusive blend modes, enabling you to mix the 4 tracks in entirely innovative ways: you no longer just add videos together, you can now blend them in real-time using various modes to create new video aesthetics, unexplored until now. 13 blend modes are available on each of the 4 tracks so videos can be mixed in the same style a computer graphic designer mixes stills. With these numerous blend modes, each night you produce a unique show. The possibilities become infinite.
The VJ mixer features a numerous effects (flips, mirors, blow...) and color corrections (RGB parameters, brightness, contrast, saturation). Crop, resize, position your images, use the 4 fully programmable keyers to achieve exclusive video compositions.
Create your own presets and save up to 144 of them on the machine's internal memory, storing your inspired ideas as they come. With the VJX16-4, unleash your unlimited potential.
An unmatched number of video inputs and outputs
With 4 inputs on each of the 4 tracks, up to 16 inputs (computers, cameras, DVD players, MP4 players...) can be connected, as your show requires. Enhance your video mix with live feed from numerous cameras on the DJ or audience.
With 6 outputs, more than any other video mixer, imagine how spectacular your show will be when you can connect: projectors, plasma screens, LCD screens, and even recording devices!
Even better, with 3 independent output signals, up to 3 different images can be sent to 6 screens! This exclusive feature, never seen before on a visual mixer, opens a whole array of possibilities for your venue.
With the battle mode the VJX16-4 can be separated into 2 independent video mixers so 2 VJs can mix together live!
Synchronize images to the music
With its audio and MIDI inputs, visual effects react in sync to the music. Various users find advantages to this:

Wait until you discover its luma/chroma/color keyers allowing you to select a colour from the image's background and make it instantly disappear. You can then insert another image, a logo, or a text on your visual mix !
Unlike software solutions, as many cameras as you wish can now be plugged directly into the mixer, so the crowd can be inserted into your video mix without any latency or hiccup.
Configuration example
- 2 computers, 2 DVD players and 2 cameras were chosen to be your live inputs
- The VJX16-4 reacts to music through the audio mixer plugged into the audio input. A MIDI device is also plugged in, either reacting to your music software, or acting as an independent controller.
- An eye can be kept on all your video sources thanks to the preview screen displays.
- Use projectors and flat screens while also recording the performance. You can choose, either to project up to 3 different images on 6 screens, or the same image on all your outputs!
- 16 video inputs give complete freedom to use countless cameras, computers, and DVD players, so your creativity is no longer limited.
