Create your own visual identity for your show
The VJX16-4 goes well beyond the limitations of traditional 2 way video switchers that have "T Bars". Multiply your creative potential by using not 2, but 4 simultaneous videos on screen at the same time. And unlike usual video mixing software, images are mixed in real time, without latency or hiccups, and with a professional quality.
Mix and combine videos in innovative ways 
using exclusive blend modes, and a variety of keyers with fully controllable parameters: select a color or luminosity on screen with the trackball and replace it by any other image! You can now easily blend images together in truly creative, innovative ways, instead of just adding them together.
Create amazing aesthetics by modifying the gain, RGB, contrast, saturation and brightness on each of the 4 video tracks separately.
Plug and play!
Simplify your setup: with 16 inputs, everything can now be plugged in directly: the VJX16-4 has more inputs than any other live video switchers on the market, so that cameras, computers, DVD players, and all other type of video equipment can be all plugged in simultaneously.
With 6 different output sockets, enjoy the largest choice of projection that exists! Furthermore, with 3 different program types for the output, the same video can be sent to 6 devices, or 3 different videos can be simultaneously projected. Projectors, screens and recording devices can all be connected in multiple ways, enabling greater interaction and creative potential for your video stage design.
Project in your desired format using masks or the crop option on the switcher. Not limited to the usual 4/3 format, you can create customized formats adapting your video to any scenery.
The advantages of a digital video switcher
Create your own presets and save up to 144 of them onto the machine's internal memory. They will remain stored when the machine is turned off, and be available for the next time you use it.
Use MIDI to control your live video switcher: presets can be easily controlled with a single click by linking the VJX16-4 to a computer, enabling greater reactivity during the show: your performance is enhanced and your reliability increased.
Thanks to the MIDI input system, new options are made possible: sensors placed on-stage can easily react to the actors' moves and direct the mixer in time with the performance.
Thanks to its audio input, visual effects can be synchronized with the music's volume or BPM, so the image reacts in time to the sound like never before.

With its compact size and weight (32x35x8 centimeters for 5 kilos), the VIXID mobile video switcher is ideally suited for transport to any stage! Its quality conception and construction, integrating state of the art components, produce a reliable and robust machine.
The custom built flight case for the VJX16-4 is light and ultra resistant: it makes your switcher easier and safer to carry.
Featuring PAL / SECAM / NTSC formats, as well as a universal AC/DC power supply, this video switcher can accompany you to any country.
Configuration example
- 3 stage cameras, 2 computers and 1 DVD player are connected to the VJX16-4, allowing you to mix live input and pre-recorded materiel together during the performance
- This setup is completed by a laptop plugged into the mixer's MIDI input for a computer assisted performance
- The preview screen displays mean you can always keep your eye on all the sources
- Here, 3 video projectors, as well as LCD screens, are plugged into the video switcher's outputs: these can feature the same image, or up to 3 different images, creating a unique atmosphere for your performance.
- But anyway, with 16 inputs and 6 outputs, you have a complete freedom to create the setup that best suits your production.
