As the VJX16-4 switcher features 4 independent video keyers, you no longer need an external keying device. A green background is no longer mandatory either: any colour can be used: just use the trackball to easily select a colour and instantly make it disappear, thanks to the fully adjustable Chroma, Luma and Color Keyers. Any other background image or video can then be inserted with exceptional quality: create a Web TV has never been that simple!
Resize and move images around the screen to position them however you desire. A combination of up to 4 images can be combined and simultaneously displayed on screen, thanks to the VJX16-4's four video tracks. Multiple Picture in Picture, logo inserts, titles, stills and videos can all be effortlessly combined to create a unique TV production!
A versatile production switcher
Do your setups vary from one video performance to another? With 16 inputs, connect all your cameras, computers, DVD players without worrying you don't have enough sockets! The production switcher adapts to all your requirements, as 4 videos can be simultaneously mixed together without latency or hiccups.
With 6 different outputs, customize the multi-screen system to your specific needs: a preview monitor for the presenter, display screen for the director, video recording device and live internet webcast system. These features can all be used concurrently. In addition, the 6 outputs can be programmed in pairs to show up to 3 different videos simultaneously.
Easily accessible and efficient
Instantly rectify the luminosity with direct access to each track's gain
Resolve lighting problems and calibrate your various cameras easily via the RGB corrector (Red Green Blue) and the BCS corrector (Brigthness, Contrast, Saturation) available on each track.
Make your transitions by cut, fade or wipe, depending on your tv production preferences.
Programming and improving your performance
Customized presets can be created and saved for future performances: they remain stored even whilst the VJX16-4 is switched off. With these presets usable on any track at any time, you can react faster, with greater accuracy for your TV station. And with the Snapshot Manager software - a program specifically developed for the VJX16-4 live production switcher - you can save all your favorites advanced setups (multi PiP, keyers parameters,...) and recall easely them live.
Control all the functions of the mixer using MIDI. Your production can be assisted by computer, to switch from one setup to another with just a single click!
Portability and reliability
With its compact size (32 x 35 x 8 centimeters for 5 kilos), this production switcher is only slightly bigger than a laptop, hence is suitably mobile and transportable. Developed and made in France, the VJX16-4 integrates state of the art components, offering a quality machine, which is reliable and robust.
The custom built flight case for the VJX16-4 is light and ultra resistant: it makes your switcher easier and safer to carry.
Featuring PAL / SECAM / NTSC formats, as well as a universal AC/DC power supply, this production switcher can accompany you to any country.
Configuration example
- 4 stage cameras, 2 computers and 1 DVD player are connected to the VJX16-4's video inputs. It becomes effortless to use computers and DVD players to insert images, logos and text onto the cameras' live feed
- An eye can be kept on all your video sources thanks to the preview screen displays.
- The 6 outputs can show up to three different video signals: one preview screen can be used to calibrate your cameras and adjust your effects and Picture in Picture inserts, another screen can be used to project the TV production you are creating, along with a recording device, and a computer to broadcast live on the internet!
- A computer with the Snapshot Manager software controls the enhanced live performance, helping you switch from one setup to another with a single click
