Coldcut is an acclaimed music group that has been innovating since their first release in 1987, the UK's first sample-built record. Their work on Eric B & Rakim's Paid in Full has been credited as the first ever remix. Coldcut's talent was recognized by a BPI "Producers Of the Year" award in 1990. They launched Ninja Tune in the early nineties, now home to a range of acts including Mr Scruff, Cinematic Orchestra, Herbaliser, Kid Koala or Roots Manuva.

After pioneering the concept of VJing they have being ranked in the world Top 10 VJs for the last 5 years. Coldcut integrated a VJX16-4 video mixer to their rig for the Sound Mirrors tour and did more than 80 live dates worldwide.
